15 April 2021 Reference: Prospective Run for Governor Hon Lee Zeldin, MC: Recently, the Gentlemen of the RPPS Corporation gathered to discuss your plans for a run for Governor against His Excellency The Imperator Andreas Creedmora. As this Society was founded by Veterans of the Vietnam era, we recall the words of Thomas Paine, "we call in earnest as a friend rather than with the rancor of an enemy." Our members were very impressed with your photo - ops with the New York National Guard on duty in Washington protecting Quid Pro Jo' and the `Ho from those 80 million people who adore them. As veterans we are familiar with such photo - ops. As a veteran yourself, did you keep a straight face as the goody - too shoes selected by their commanders to tell you how much they like living in an unheated garage without sanitary facilities and eating MREs (sea rats) prated such nonsense? No matter, while we greatly admire you, we believe you should not run for Governor. While we realize His Excellency who uses Benito Mussolini as his role model, having killed upwards of 15,000 people in the nursing homes, spent impressive amounts of money to fly on King One daily from NYC to Albany to conduct press conferences as the Wuhan - Corona virus Queen and serially abused female staff during these flights might seem to be weak from the point of view of the muckrakers of the New York Post, a democrat has the advantage of the votes from the cemeteries, illegal aliens and state prisoners and parolees. The recent election shows that Electoral Democracy is at an end. Likely whatever is left of the United States will be a two - tiered Fabian - Socialist Democracy, with the middle class abolished. It would be impossible to win. But even if it were possible to win and to believe His Excellency The Imperator, heir to Il Duce Himself were willing or smart enough to bailout, the state is broke. Whoever takes over will be blamed when the bankrupt hulk simply crashes and self - destructs. We could cite for you the example of Abraham D Beame, Comptroller of New York City who juggled budgets to make prolifigate Mayor John V Lindsay's excesses from 1970 - 1973 possible. When Lindsay stepped aside, Beame successfully ran for mayor in 1973, only to take charge in a financial crisis, just in time to lack the money to make the payroll. But I don't think His Excellency The Grand Imperator has the good sense to bow out quietly. His ego is equal to that of Mussolini. He compares himself to a fictional character. The deck is stacked. Even if His Excellency is hated, in a Venezuela style election, he can't be beat. In a more limited area, it is possible for you to hold onto your seat and let someone else be the sacrificial lamb. Respectfully,
H A Andrews
Dr James Davies, Lord Woodbury: IN SUMMATION Greetings Dean: It is hard to believe that 50 years have passed since the gentlemen met in the upper chamber of the Old Beach estate to read, study and philosophise and in the process accumulate collective ignorance and expound upon it before adjourning to Joy's Pizzeria for sup. The Society does claim it stood alone 50 years ago when it accurately forecast the current scene in Washington which looks more like a third world capital with barbed wire spread and troops on the street. In my globe - trotting days, notwithstanding the Societal prediction of the end of Electoral politics, I'd see such spectacles overseas, never really expecting such blight to strike at home. Of course, the Society has been saying for a long time that in its long decline with each passing day US becomes less like the country I was born into. Future generations will not understand the tremendous freedom we once had. Yet, I must deviate from the accepted view in the Society that after November 2020 there is no "we," no reconciliation and no unity. Indeed, I am shocked that the Dean is cheering for the People's Republic of China and Russian which acting in unison may dislodge the US from world mastery. In my view, by refusing to place the US as first, President Biden has resumed world leadership. Is this not out of pure spitefulness you and many Trump supporters refuse to support President Biden in returning hegemony to the US by securing the independence of Taiwan and Ukrania against the designs of Russia and China? The importance of making the world and the European Alliance first over American provincial interests is apparent. The US hegemony insures the peace. Even you yourself have said the collapse of the US will touch off all the wars held in check by its supremacy: in the European world between US nominal allies Greece and Turkey, France and Germany, Ireland and England, Germany and Poland, Texas and Mexico. You did not mention the possibility of intensified racial violence in South Africa, conflict between India and Pakistan, India and China, China and Taiwan, and Japan and China. Dean, without the US the world will be in flames. Why do you and other American nationalists turn your back on the suffering created by that prospect? Now, Dean, on the Alaska meeting in which the PRC publicly berated Biden and his officials about the disputed election, human rights violations, interventionism and supporting mouslem terrorist inside China. I prefer to think that CNN has it right. It was guerilla theatre. The real deal was made out of the view of the cameras, although I am troubled that when the US delegation mouths agape by the ferocity of the Chinese insult dismissed the press presumably to make the secret accords, the Red Chinese invited the press back to continue the barrage of public beration of the World's only superpower. I do concede that China's vicious attack on the US delegation which came to the table in expectation of being welcomed back lacked the ceremonious, syrupy politeness which characterizes Chinese diplomacy. It is more like the manner in which the Chinese treat an inferior. The Dean did say that in the days in which this our Great Society was formed when Harrison Salisbury and other white liberals were drooling over the Sino - Soviet split in the belief that the US' fading star would be resuscitated by a war between Russia and China, a minority view believed the two giants would reconcile and move against the US in tandem. I could not accept the view that the Sino - Soviet split was a distraction. Indeed, I believe that President Nixon managed the Sino - Soviet split to extricate the US from the Vietnam War. I was shocked that the Dean disputes it and describes President Nixon's view that he was riding on a split as an illusion. "A US politician who thinks he has deceived anyone other than a credulous American is delusional," says the Dean. When I reminded the Dean that the architect of Nixon's strategy Henry Kissinger was the greatest diplomat and statesman since Prince Metternich, scion of the Prussian state, I was most unsociably rebuked: "Prince Metternich was a noble of third rate Austria, not rising Brandenburg - Prussia." Well Dean, nonetheless, despite the disagreement between Dean and Mentor and occasional reluctance to accept the downward spiral into a third world dictatorship, the Society in 1971 accurately forecast the future when the rest of the country dreamed that we'd be sitting on the beach in California watching the sun set. It is on that note I bid you a Most Cheery Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheerio,
DR JAMES DAVIES, DF
ONLY THE NATION STATE CAN TACKLE THE ANACHRONISM OF EMPIRE ( WHICH IS GLOBALISM ). Globalisation is China. Unless we protect the nation-state as a Sovereign Independent entity, the Red Dragon will dominate, in league with a cadre of international tycoons. The Biden administration is doing everything in its power to render the United States powerless in the face of globalization. Sad to say at present due to Biden America is a Third-Rate power, and that is bad for nation-states who wish to penetrate all global markets including China. Keeping China in check means an America back to her position of that of a primary superpower on all fronts. This would also be good for liberal democracy in the West which is reeling and in its place a thinly veiled version of a Communist system of social, political, and cultural control is in the ascent courtesy of communist China. This process has been going on since 1989. And we see the fruits of its poison throughout especially America at present. It is time for the West to wake up and retrieve her lost freedoms and utterly crush the Fascist Far-left without scruple. ~ Pierce Martin |
Pierce Martin: Common Sense from an Irishman
I cannot accept the Irish uprising a century ago as the last of the Romantic revolutions in the vein of the American and French Revolutions. I don't think it is possible to tie in the narrative in Ireland from 1916 to 1923 into the age of revolutions which began with the American Revolution in 1775. By contrast, The United Irishmen of 1798 were certainly part of the era of Revolutions inspired by the American revolution. The UI was led by mainly Ulster Presbyterians who were radical Whigs like the American Revolutionaries. There were also Irish Catholic Revolutionary Whigs.
Wolfe Tone could well be compared to Alexander Hamilton or John Adams. Who dares to speak of 98? Unlike Patrick Pearce of a century
later, Tone was a patriot however misguided. Tone's death in 1798 ended the United Irishmen and republican ideology in Ireland. What came after was romantic nationalism.
We speak a lot about revolution in Ireland but in truth the only revolution Ireland ever experienced was the Land Revolution which ended the power and landholdings of the Landlord Class and which was driven first by Charles Stewart Parnell and then John Redmond and was finally secured in 1909, seven years before the onset of the Rebellion in 1916.
Was a revolution necessary? We in Ireland had a Constitutional process and representation at Westminster. Home Rule was on the statute books at Westminster, established by John Redmond from the 18th of September 1914 for most of Ireland. It could have been a stepping-stone within the restricting political context to an independent sovereign Ireland or whatever the people deemed desirable.
The American Revolution was the product of the radical Whig tradition which even goes back to Cromwell and John Pym in 1642. What happened in the 13 colonies in America was the natural outgrowth of the Charter of Liberties which the colonists believed themselves to be ruled under, but in truth had broken down. John Adams understood this perfectly.
The other revolutions especially the French, though a consequence of the American Revolution had none of the English Whig element as part of it. Therefore, it became exceeding bloody in 1793.
In Eire, there was no mandate from the people for insurgency at any time. This is not like the American narrative from 1775 to 1781-83. The insurgency campaign by the IRA was aimed mainly at Policemen whom they killed in a most cowardly way. But my State has a different view - and so do around 80% of the people who have been brainwashed without a scintilla of shame.
1916 was a terrorist crime against humanity. The event belongs in the realm of fantasy history. They wouldn't dare commemorate the blood-filled murderous reality that it truly was. And admit the events amoral, and evil nature. It is part of what we are - morally, and intellectually warped. Now, it's time to kill the comfort zone of the Revolutionary period myth.
What our innocent progenitors experienced from August 1st 1915, when Patrick Pearse unveiled the Fenian Programme was the first manifestation of Fascism in Europe. How should we truly remember the blood curdling narrative on this island a 100 years ago, and onward? Surely with principled honesty, not self-serving delusion?
We should remember the so-called " fight for freedom " as a total waste of human life. From the moment Constable James O'Brien was shot dead in head by Sean Connolly on the 24th of April 1916. common decency, and morality began to die in the depths of our mind and soul.
This criminal event began an effusion of blood and death that was without a scintilla of necessity of political or moral justification. There were instances of killing in Dublin that day before Constable James O'Brien was murdered, but his death has a deeply symbolic meaning. Don't anyone dare to justify what Oglaigh na Eireann did on that day or any other.
We should feel shame, not pride about the narrative from the 24th of April 1916 to the 24th of May 1923. The fact that we do not feel shame is indicative of our shattered moral compass and total loss of historical objectivity.
Until we decide to grow up and admit that the insurgency from 1916 to 1923, was inherently immoral in a most malfeasant way, we will never be able to call ourselves a democracy, but instead remain the groveling worshippers of the Blood-cult of Fenian-Nationalism.
The political establishment of the Republic of Ireland will never, with moral honesty, view 1916. They will never admit that it was a crime.
Irish romantic revolutionary Nationalism or Fenian Nationalism had nothing to do with the Whig tradition and therefore is divorced from the American Revolution and has nothing in common really with the age of romantic revolutions.
The Fenian Brotherhood was established in America by O'Mahony in 1858 and the IRB in Ireland by Stephens in the same year both were Young Irelanders. However, the roots of Fenian-Nationalism stretch all the way back to 1641 and the Irish Confederate rebellion in defence of the Divine Right of Kings, and the Roman Catholic faith.
This has to be seen within the context of the struggle in England between the absolute monarchy of the Stuarts and the Parliamentarians which came to a head in 1642 when civil war broke out between Parliament (proto-Whigs) and the Stuart Monarchy. Charles I believed in the Divine Right of Kings, and the Parliamentarians in a constitutional monarchy.
Leaving aside the Ulster-Scotts who were on the side of the Parliamentarians (proto-Whigs), the Catholic Irish (or now the new Irish the Eireannigh), as I said fought with the Stuart Monarchy defending the Divine Right of Kings and the Papacy. In shot proto-Jacobite (the Stuarts) versus proto-Whigs (the Parliamentarians). The Catholic Irish were on the wrong side - against the Parliamentarians. But it could hardly have been otherwise.
One could define matters as Irish Catholic Nationalism against the at times radical proto-Whigs - the Parliamentarians (Roundheads), leading ultimately to Cromwell and Cromwell in Ireland a narrative highly mythologized by Irish Nationalism. The roots as I said of Fenian-Nationalism lie in 1641 and later in Jacobitism pre, and post 1690. I think Irish Nationalist exceptionalism has to be acknowledged and that separates it from the romantic age of revolutions.
Ultimately, Lloyd George in mid-1921 decided to appease Sinn Fein IRA. This was not like Yorktown in 1781. There was Crown oppression to fight in America but none in Ireland.
The narrative from 1916 to 1923 was a defeat for Fenian-Nationalism and the Fenian Programme which would not have produced a democracy but a dictatorship - the first Fascist (far - right) State in Europe.
Fortunately, we were too near Britain for that to happen. In June 1922 the Free State was established by the people (78%), and liberal democracy restored. To put it concisely, 1916 was the first attempt in Europe at a Fascist Revolution, not an attempt at the last of the romantic Revolutions. When I think of Patrick Pearse, I think of Adolph Hitler.
At the end, by the 24th of May 1923, Pearse's Fenian Programme had abjectly failed at. Over 6,000 people lay dead - and for what? NOTHING!!? Liberal democracy had survived (just) and all the cheer leaders were left with were the blood - stained rags of needless human sacrifice. That is not patriotism, that is evil.
1922 is the foundation stone of the Irish State but myth is more powerful as we all well know.
No one who is Irish living today has to apologize for 1916.We did not live in that era. I am not talking about any kind of Woke nonsense. But we Irish can take a moral position on 1916 and the violence that followed in the name of Ireland.
But as I said the establishment will not do this. They are proud of an event that opened the gates of Hell destroyed Home Rule and led eventually to the deaths 6,000 people, if not more, by the 24th of May 1923.
What has emerged is a failed state which hardly approaches the unmitigated disaster that is the Republic of Ireland. We have stabbed our only friend, and neighbour in the back (the United Kingdom), and insanely embraced Globalism and the European Federal Superstate of the EU. We are on the wrong side in relation to American politics (Biden and the Democrats), and have also become part of the crazy world of environmental climate change madness. Why do we hurt ourselves so much? There is so much more wrong with us, in relation to our judgements.
We are a lost cause which captivates Leo Varadkar, a fine Gael politician, very much in the cast of de Valera and takes delight in projecting - through himself - a modern day image of the ultra-nationalist evil of de Valera, Collins and Oglaigh na hEireann. Varadkar's immersion in the Fenian Blood-cult only serves to legitimise further IRA violence in the future in the pursuit of Patrick Pearse's warped dream of a United Gaelic Ireland.
Whenever Sinn Fein, and Mary Lou McDonald, or Leo Varadkar speak of a United Ireland they do not mean the unity of the people. They mean the establishment of the national territorial integrity of the island as one indivisible polity in line with the Fenian Programme announced by Pearse on the 1st of August 1915.
With Home Rule on the statute books at Westminster, since1914, the path to freedom within a Constitutional framework was open. The violence and murder of Oglaigh na Eireann destroyed all that might have been, had the Gargoyle of the risen Gael left modern Ireland alone to decide her own destiny. In the 1916, common decency, and morality began to die in the depths of our mind and soul.
Ironically, in the aftermath, Northern Ireland became what John Redmond envisioned in Home Rule for the 26 counties of Ireland on the 18th of September 1914. Northern Ireland cannot be separated from the Whig tradition which in radical form produced the American Revolution in 1783.
